COMMISSIONS & PAYMENTS
What is the commission rate?
You earn a flat 30% commission on all WhoKnew™ product sales, regardless of license tier or billing cycle.
How much can I earn per sale?
Annual Licenses:
Pro (1 site): $79/year = $23.70 commission*
Growth (3 sites): $159/year = $47.70 commission*
Agency (10 sites): $399/year = $119.70 commission*
Monthly Subscriptions:
Pro: $14/month = $4.20 commission*
Growth: $27/month = $8.10 commission*
Agency: $67/month = $20.10 commission*
* First purchase only. No commission on automatic renewals.
Do I earn commissions on renewals?
No. You earn 30% commission on the initial purchase only – whether annual or first month of subscription. Automatic renewals (annual or monthly) do NOT generate additional commissions. However, if a customer’s subscription lapses and they make a new purchase through your link, you’ll earn commission on that new purchase.
How long does the referral cookie last?
30 days. If someone clicks your affiliate link, you’ll receive credit for any purchase they make within the next 30 days, even if they leave and return later.
When do I get paid?
Payments are processed monthly within 15 business days after the end of each month. For example, commissions earned in January will be paid by mid-February.
Why the 15-day wait?
This window allows our 14-day money-back guarantee period to expire before commissions are paid, reducing commission reversals from refunds.
What is the minimum payout threshold?
$100. Once your account balance reaches $100, you’ll automatically receive payment in the next monthly payout cycle. Balances under $100 roll over to the next month.
What payment methods are available?
We currently offer PayPal, bank transfer, and other electronic payment methods as made available in your dashboard. You’re responsible for maintaining accurate payment information.
Are there any fees deducted from my commissions?
No, we do not deduct fees. However, you’re responsible for any fees charged by your payment provider (e.g., PayPal transaction fees) and any taxes owed on your commission income.
Can I see my earnings in real-time?
Yes, your affiliate dashboard shows clicks, conversions, and earnings in real-time. You can track your performance 24/7.
What happens if a customer requests a refund?
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If a customer receives a refund within this period, the associated commission will be deducted from your account balance.
Do I earn commission on upgrades?
Yes! You earn commission when a customer upgrades from a lower-tier license to a higher-tier license through your referral link.
TECHNICAL QUESTIONS
How do I generate my affiliate links?
Log into your affiliate dashboard, navigate to the “Links” or “Marketing” section, and you’ll find pre-generated referral links for each product. You can also create custom tracking links for different campaigns.
Can I create multiple tracking links?
Yes, you can generate unlimited custom tracking links to track which campaigns, platforms, or content pieces perform best.
How does link tracking work?
When someone clicks your unique affiliate link, a 30-day cookie is stored in their browser. Any purchase they make within that 30-day window is automatically credited to your account using last-click attribution.
What if someone uses an ad blocker?
Our tracking system is cookie-based and works independently of third-party advertising pixels, so standard ad blockers typically won’t affect commission tracking.
Can I use my affiliate links on my own purchases?
No, self-referrals are strictly prohibited. Affiliate links cannot be used for your own purchases or purchases by immediate family members living in the same household.
Do the links work internationally?
Yes, your affiliate links work worldwide. We accept customers from all countries (except those under U.S. embargo), and you’ll earn commissions on international sales.
Can I deep-link to specific product pages?
Yes, you can link directly to any WhoKnew™ product page, pricing page, or checkout page. Your affiliate tracking will work on any page within our domain.
What if a customer clears their cookies?
If a customer clears cookies, uses a different browser, or switches devices before purchasing, the referral may not be tracked. This is a limitation of cookie-based tracking systems.
MARKETING & PROMOTION
What marketing materials do you provide?
We provide banners (multiple sizes), product screenshots, demo videos, email templates, social media copy, and pre-written product descriptions. All materials are available in your affiliate dashboard.
Can I write my own content?
Absolutely! We encourage original content. Write blog posts, create videos, develop tutorials, or share personal experiences. Authentic content typically converts better than generic marketing materials.
Are there any promotional restrictions?
Yes. You cannot:
Bid on “WhoKnew” brand terms in paid search ads
Send unsolicited spam emails
Make false claims about our products
Engage in cookie stuffing or fraudulent traffic
Impersonate WhoKnew™ or claim to be an official representative
See our full Terms & Conditions for complete guidelines.
Can I run paid ads with my affiliate links?
Yes, you can run paid ads on Facebook, Google Display, YouTube, native ads, etc. However, you CANNOT bid on trademark terms like “WhoKnew”, “WhoKnew Views”, “WhoKnew.io” or variations in search engines.
Can I bid on generic keywords?
Yes! You can bid on generic terms like “WooCommerce view counter”, “WordPress analytics plugin”, “product forecasting plugin”, etc.
Can I offer discounts or bonuses to my audience?
You cannot create unauthorized discount codes or modify our pricing. However, you can offer your own bonuses (like exclusive tutorials, templates, or consulting time) to incentivize purchases through your link.
What makes WhoKnew™ easy to promote?
WhoKnew™ is the ONLY WooCommerce plugin with Meta Prophet AI – the same algorithm Meta uses for billion-dollar predictions. This unique positioning, combined with solving the “dead store” problem that kills new WooCommerce shops, makes it highly compelling.
Who is the target audience?
WordPress developers, WooCommerce store owners, freelancers, agencies, consultants, tech bloggers, YouTubers, and anyone serving the eCommerce community. Our plugin solves real problems for people building or managing online stores.
Can I promote to my email list?
Yes, email marketing is encouraged – but you must comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and anti-spam regulations. Only email people who have opted in to receive communications from you. We provide email templates, but personalized emails perform better.
What content performs best?
Tutorial videos, before/after comparisons, case studies, and honest reviews perform best. Content that educates and demonstrates the Meta Prophet AI forecasting feature is particularly effective.
Do I need to disclose my affiliate relationship?
Yes! U.S. affiliates must comply with FTC guidelines requiring clear disclosure of affiliate relationships. Use statements like: “This post contains affiliate links. I earn a commission if you purchase through these links at no additional cost to you.” International affiliates must comply with local disclosure regulations.
PROGRAM RULES & POLICIES
Can I have multiple affiliate accounts?
No, each person or business entity is limited to one affiliate account. Creating multiple accounts will result in termination of all accounts and forfeiture of commissions.
What happens if I violate the terms?
Violations may result in commission forfeiture, account suspension, or permanent termination depending on severity. We review violations case-by-case and reserve the right to withhold payments if fraud is suspected.
Can I recruit sub-affiliates?
No, this is not an MLM program. You earn commissions only on direct sales through your links, not on recruiting other affiliates.
Can WhoKnew™ change the commission rate?
Yes, we reserve the right to modify commission rates with 30 days’ notice. However, existing affiliates will have their current rate honored for 90 days from notification if rates are reduced.
How do I contact support?

Contact our support team immediately with details about the issue. We’ll investigate and resolve any tracking problems. You must report payment disputes within 30 days of the payment date.
How do I close my account?

Can I view my referral history?
Yes, your dashboard provides complete transparency with detailed reports showing all clicks, conversions, dates, commission amounts, and payment status.
Am I responsible for taxes on my commissions?
