WhoKnew™ Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: January 23, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to the WhoKnew™ Affiliate Program. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the affiliate program operated by WhoKnew™. By registering as an affiliate, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
WhoKnew™ reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued participation in the affiliate program after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Definitions
“WhoKnew™” refers to the company operating the affiliate program and selling WordPress plugins, including WhoKnew Views™, WhoKnew the Future™, and all other digital products offered at whoknew.io.
“Affiliate” refers to any individual or entity who registers for and participates in the WhoKnew™ Affiliate Program.
“Referral Link” means the unique tracking URL provided to the Affiliate for promoting WhoKnew™ products.
“Commission” means the percentage of sales revenue paid to the Affiliate for qualified purchases made through their Referral Link.
“Customer” means any individual or entity who purchases a WhoKnew™ product.
3. Affiliate Registration and Eligibility
3.1 Registration
Registration for the WhoKnew™ Affiliate Program is free and instant. By submitting the affiliate registration form, you agree to these Terms and warrant that all information provided is accurate and complete.
3.2 Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the affiliate program, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
- Have the legal authority to enter into this agreement
- Maintain a website, blog, social media presence, YouTube channel, email list, or other platform for promoting WhoKnew™ products
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
- Not be located in a country subject to U.S. embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country
3.3 Account Approval
While most affiliate registrations are instantly approved, WhoKnew™ reserves the right to reject any affiliate application at our sole discretion, including but not limited to:
- Websites or content that violate our prohibited promotion methods (Section 6)
- Applicants with a history of fraudulent activity
- Duplicate or suspicious registrations
4. Commission Structure
4.1 Commission Rates
Affiliates earn 30% commission on all sales of WhoKnew™ products made through their unique Referral Link.
4.2 Product Pricing and Commission Amounts
Commission is calculated based on the actual purchase price paid by the Customer:
Annual Licenses:
- Pro License (1 site): $79/year = $23.70 commission*
- Growth License (3 sites): $159/year = $47.70 commission*
- Agency License (10 sites): $399/year = $119.70 commission*
Monthly Subscriptions:
- Pro License (1 site): $14/month – first month = $4.20 commission*
- Growth License (3 sites): $27/month – first month = $8.10 commission*
- Agency License (10 sites): $67/month – first month = $20.10 commission*
*First purchase only. No commission on automatic renewals.
4.3 Qualifying Purchases
Commissions are earned on:
- First-time purchases of any WhoKnew™ product (first year only)
- Upgrades from lower-tier licenses to higher-tier licenses
- New purchases if the Customer clicks through the Affiliate’s Referral Link again after their previous license has expired
4.4 Non-Qualifying Purchases
Commissions are NOT earned on:
- Automatic annual renewals – Affiliates earn commission on the first year purchase only. When a Customer’s annual license automatically renews, no additional commission is paid.
- Recurring monthly subscription payments – Affiliates earn 30% of the first month only. Subsequent monthly payments do not generate commissions.
- Purchases made by the Affiliate themselves for their own use
- Purchases made using discount codes not authorized by WhoKnew™
- Fraudulent, refunded, or charged-back transactions
- Free trial activations (commission is only paid if the trial converts to a paid license)
Important: You will only earn commission on the initial purchase. Automatic subscription renewals (annual or monthly) do not generate additional affiliate commissions. However, if a Customer’s subscription lapses and they make a new purchase through your affiliate link, you will earn commission on that new purchase.
4.5 Referral Cookie Duration
When a potential Customer clicks on your Referral Link, a cookie is placed on their browser for 30 days. If they purchase a WhoKnew™ product within those 30 days, you will receive commission for that sale.
Important Notes:
- If the Customer clears their cookies or uses a different browser/device, the referral may not be tracked
- The most recent Referral Link clicked receives credit (last-click attribution)
- Referral tracking relies on browser cookies and may not work if the Customer has cookies disabled
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Payment Schedule
Commissions are paid monthly via your chosen payment method. Payments are processed within 15 business days after the close of the month for all commissions earned in the previous month.
Example: Commissions earned during January (January 1-31) will be paid within 15 business days after January 31st. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Note: This 15-business-day processing window allows for our 14-day money-back guarantee period to expire before commissions are paid, reducing the likelihood of commission reversals.
5.2 Payment Threshold
A minimum balance of $100 must be accumulated before payment is processed. If your commission balance is below $100 at the end of a month, it will roll over to the next month until the threshold is met.
Example: If you earn $75 in January and $60 in February, you will receive payment in March for the combined $135.
5.3 Payment Methods
Payments are processed through the payment method you specify in your affiliate dashboard. WhoKnew™ may offer various payment options including but not limited to:
- PayPal
- Bank transfer
- Other electronic payment methods as made available
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate payment information in your affiliate account
- Any fees charged by your payment provider
- Any taxes owed on your commission income
5.4 Payment Disputes
If you believe there is an error in your commission payment, you must notify WhoKnew™ within 30 days of the payment date. Claims made after 30 days will not be honored.
5.5 Withheld Payments
WhoKnew™ reserves the right to withhold payment if:
