Reason for appeal

Describe how you identified the source of the traffic on your corporate network and what steps you have taken to address it (e.g., isolated device, contacted IT, disabled credentials, patched vulnerability). Include any incident or ticket reference if available.

Describe how you or your institution identified the source of the traffic and what steps have been taken (e.g., isolated machine, notified student/faculty, reset credentials). Include any IT ticket or incident reference if applicable.

Describe the purpose of your crawler or bot, how it is configured, and what steps you have taken to ensure it complies with acceptable use (e.g., rate limiting, respecting robots.txt, user-agent identification). Explain why it was flagged and how you have addressed or will address that.

Describe the circumstances (e.g., café, hotel, coworking) and what steps you have taken since being blocked (e.g., left the network, secured your device, changed passwords). Explain why you believe the block was in error.

Describe your use of the VPN or proxy (provider, purpose) and what steps you have taken or will take to ensure your traffic is legitimate (e.g., disabled VPN for sensitive access, switched provider, verified no malware).

Describe your specific situation in detail. Include what you were doing when blocked, your network setup, and any other context that may help our investigation.

I attest that the information above is accurate and that I am requesting removal in good faith. I understand that first-time block removal may be easier, but that repeated blocks make removal more difficult or impossible, and I have provided complete details accordingly. I also understand that WhoKnew™ requires government-issued ID (e.g. driver's license or passport) to verify my identity before processing this appeal. By submitting this form, you agree to receive email and text messages regarding your inquiry, order updates, and occasional service notifications. Message & data rates may apply.
