I’m getting ready to launch a new blog and was looking to add an extra layer of protection from bots and scrapers harvesting info from my site. I downloaded the free version of this plugin to try it out and quickly made the decision to upgrade to the Pro version. It’s been worth every penny. I’m very knew to blogging, but the setup for this plugin was very clear and easy to follow. I like that I don’t have to be fluent in code to customize the settings. It’s already blocked at least 8 suspicious ip addresses that were trying to access my site. I love how easy the dashboard is to navigate and see my daily reports. I had a little bit of a learning curve figuring out which settings to turn on, but WhoKnew’s tech support and knowledge base helped me every step of the way. Who Knew Shield is a hidden gem here in the plugin store.

Been using this for about two months. The combination of hiding contact info from scrapers and actively trapping the bots with Scraper Trap is smart. One approach is passive, the other is active—together they work great. Intelligence ties it together with the geo data and timeline. Genuinely well-built plugin.

Does a solid job stopping scrapers from harvesting our contact info—less phone spam, fewer spam texts, less email spam. The physical address protection is there too though honestly scammers don't use that the same way. The honeypot and intelligence network are the standout features for me. Quick migration, good support. Would give 4.5 if I could.

Tried two other solutions before this. Both were either too complicated, cost 5 times more, or didn't actually work. Shield worked out of the box and auto-detect saved me from having to go through 200 plus pages. The click-to-reveal looks clean and doesn't annoy real users. Scraper Trap is doing its job in the background.

Switched from Email Encoder Bundle. Shortcodes recognized automatically, zero broken pages. The intelligence dashboard is a serious upgrade—we can see who's being blocked and from where. Less phone spam and email spam since our contact info stopped being harvestable. No regret.

We're a small nonprofit, and nobody here has much tech bandwidth. This was easy to set up, doesn't need babysitting, and our main email and phone number are finally protected. The dashboard shows it's working. That's all we needed.

Good plugin, does what it promises. Shortcode compatibility made migration easy. The trap is working—see the blocks in the dashboard. Took off one star because I'd like an option to export the intelligence data but it's not a dealbreaker.

But honestly, the security this provides is next level for the price.

Free version is great on its own. Upgraded to Pro for the scraper trap and I can see it catching bots in real time. Emails stopped showing up in spam lists I think
